Daré Bioscience CEO discusses pipeline and commercial shift
Daré Bioscience, Inc. (NASDAQ: DARE) announced that President and CEO Sabrina Martucci Johnson participated in a Virtual Investor CEO Connect segment, discussing the company's transition from a development-stage biotech to a commercial-stage company.
Johnson highlighted the launch of Flora Sync LF5™ and preparations for DARE to PLAY™ Sildenafil Cream, a Section 503B compounded drug product not approved by the FDA, to begin generating revenue. She also described the company's efforts to build commercial infrastructure intended to support multiple products, including customer acquisition, provider engagement and market access.
On the pipeline side, Johnson referenced positive interim Phase 3 results for Ovaprene®, an investigational hormone-free monthly intravaginal contraceptive currently in a Phase 3 clinical study. She also noted the advancement of DARE-HPV, an investigational vaginal insert being evaluated for persistent high-risk human papillomavirus infection, into Phase 2 clinical study.
Johnson outlined potential catalysts the company expects could drive greater recognition of its value over the next 12 to 18 months, according to a press release from the San Diego-based company.
