Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) has been awarded an integrated services contract by bp for the first appraisal campaign at the Bumerangue field, located in deepwater offshore Brazil, according to a company statement.

The contract covers drilling services and reservoir evaluation as part of bp's appraisal program for the Bumerangue discovery. Halliburton said the scope consolidates multiple services under a single execution model, and will include deployment of its LOGIX automation and remote operations technology.

"This award reflects Halliburton's ability to execute complex deepwater projects through a combination of digital solutions, integrated service delivery, and local expertise," said Francisco Tarazona, senior vice president for Latin America at Halliburton.

The contract also incorporates data, AI, and advanced drilling technologies intended to provide real-time operational insights throughout the appraisal program.
