Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN) announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Arlington, Texas, with the transition expected to be completed by March 2027.

The company said Arlington's Choctaw Stadium has served as a corporate office since 2020 and currently houses a portion of its corporate workforce. The Arlington office will become the primary hub for corporate leadership and shared business functions.

Six Flags President and CEO John Reilly said the move is intended to consolidate personnel and decision-making. "After an extensive review, we determined that concentrating our personnel, processes, and decision-making in our Arlington office, where a portion of Six Flags corporate employees are located, is the best path forward for the Company," Reilly said.

The company operates 34 parks and nine resorts across North America, including five properties in Texas. Arlington is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Six Flags said it will maintain a presence in the Charlotte area through its continued investment in Carowinds and Carolina Harbor, and will also retain an office in Sandusky, Ohio.
