NexGen Energy Ltd. (NYSE: NXE) reported early 2026 summer drilling results at its Patterson Corridor East (PCE) uranium discovery that expanded the high-grade subdomain vertically and added a fifth drill rig to the program, according to a company press release.

Hole RK-26-293 pushed the vertical extent of the high-grade subdomain 94 meters deeper to 644 meters total, a 17% increase, intersecting cumulative 4.7 meters of radioactivity above 10,000 counts per second (cps) at 930 meters depth, including 0.1 meters above 61,000 cps.

Hole RK-26-290c1, designed as a down-plunge test, intersected multiple stacked uranium veins across 40 meters of the high-grade subdomain, returning cumulative 19.5 meters above 10,000 cps, including 5.2 meters above 61,000 cps. The company said this represents the record intersection at PCE based on off-scale readings.

Hole RK-26-294 confirmed internal continuity, returning cumulative 6.9 meters above 10,000 cps, including 3.1 meters above 61,000 cps, located 27 meters along strike from an earlier hole that returned 17.0 meters at 3.85% U₃O₈.

A fourth hole, RK-26-296, expanded the shallowest portion of the PCE zone by 50 meters along strike, returning cumulative 3.5 meters above 10,000 cps, including 0.4 meters above 61,000 cps.

Drilling at PCE resumed May 28, 2026. As of the announcement, 20,138.7 meters of a planned 42,000-meter program had been completed. Eleven holes totaling 7,425.2 meters were drilled during the current summer season. Samples are being submitted to the independent Saskatchewan Research Council Geoanalytical Laboratory.

Chief Executive Officer Leigh Curyer said the company is adding a fifth drill rig for the remainder of the 2026 program, citing the results at PCE.
