The WiSA Association, a division of Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT), has certified Optoma's HCPro-5400 and UHZ58LV true 4K UHD laser projectors, along with 66 additional models sharing their platforms, for compatibility with WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitters.

The certification covers both the original WiSA SoundSend, which uses WiSA HT technology, and the forthcoming WiSA SoundSend E, which uses WiSA's newer WiSA E technology. Certified projectors are designed to connect wirelessly to WiSA Certified speakers from multiple brands.

Optoma's HCPro-5400 is a DLP triple RGB laser projector with 5,000 lumens of brightness, carrying certifications for IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and FILMMAKER MODE. The projector supports images up to 300 inches and includes Dolby Atmos passthrough via eARC. The UHZ58LV uses dual laser projection with an additional red laser to deliver DCI-P3 color, rated at 3,000 lumens, and is designed for home cinema use.

The WiSA SoundSend E will be paired with a new WiSA Connect mobile application, intended to provide system control including equalization, bass management, and custom user profiles across WiSA E systems.

The WiSA SoundSend connects to source devices via HDMI or optical input and is designed to enable multichannel wireless audio without traditional speaker wiring, with setup described as taking minutes.
