Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN) announced the launch of Genius World, its inaugural flagship event showcasing its Genius point-of-sale platform, scheduled for August 24-27, 2026, in Las Vegas.

The event is designed for merchants, operators and distribution partners, including resellers, financial institutions, independent sales organizations and agent banks. The venue features a walkable "Main Street" display with mock retail and restaurant environments, including a wine shop, golf store, café, restaurant, stadium concession, burger drive-thru, food truck and pizzeria.

Featured solutions at the event include a handheld device designed for edge AI, a modular countertop unit, a kiosk lineup, digital menu boards and drive-thru technology. The company will also present expanded capabilities including a mobile payments app and a kitchen management offering with offline functionality.

Following the Las Vegas event, Global Payments plans a multi-city "Genius Road Trip" tour with more than 40 stops across the U.S., including Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Orlando. Select stops will include a "Genius in Action" award recognizing local small businesses.

The three-day agenda includes nearly 50 sessions covering commerce trends, AI applications, product roadmaps and business growth strategies. Featured speakers include basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and chef Roy Choi.
