SK hynix Inc. (NASDAQ: SKHY) responded to a disclosure inquiry from the Korea Exchange on Aug. 21, 2026, regarding media reports that the company is considering building a semiconductor facility in Japan.

The company stated that it is reviewing various measures, including establishing additional production bases, to strengthen its memory business, but said no decisions have been made as of the date of the statement.
