Robo.ai names Hao Wang of Changer.ae to its board of directors

Robo.ai Inc. (Nasdaq: AIIO), a UAE-based technology company, has appointed Hao Wang as an independent director, effective immediately, according to a press release. Wang will also serve on the board's Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, and Strategy and ESG Committee.

Wang currently serves as senior executive officer at Changer.ae, a UAE-based digital asset custodian. He previously held chief operating officer roles at SGTOX, a Singapore-based digital asset platform, and at MetaBank, where he worked on blockchain-based technology solutions. He also held positions at IDEG Singapore and earlier in his career worked in investment banking at Citi and Nomura.

Wang has been a CFA charterholder since 2010 and holds a fellowship from the Global FinTech Institute. He earned degrees in materials engineering from Tsinghua University and the University of Tokyo.

Wang succeeds Yehong Ji, who resigned from the board and its committees effective August 11, 2026. Ji confirmed his resignation was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the board or the company.

Robo.ai is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, with regional offices in Tokyo, Singapore, and New York.
