Investing.com - Raytheon Co. has been awarded three delivery orders totaling a maximum $42,482,605 for F/A-18 spare parts under a five-year basic ordering agreement with the U.S. Navy, the Department of Defense announced.

The largest order, valued at $17,214,276, is a two-year firm-fixed-price contract with a performance completion date of July 14, 2028. The second order is worth $15,072,015 and runs for one year and nine months, ending May 11, 2028. The third order totals $10,196,314 and also spans one year and nine months, with completion scheduled for May 1, 2028.

All three orders were issued against basic ordering agreement N00383-23-G-SV01 and represent sole-source acquisitions under 10 U.S. Code 3204 (a)(1), as stated by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. None of the contracts include option periods.

The orders will be funded through fiscal 2026 through 2028 Navy defense working capital funds. The McKinney, Texas-based company will provide spare parts for the F/A-18 aircraft fleet.

The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, serves as the contracting activity for all three delivery orders.
