Conduent Incorporated (Nasdaq: CNDT) announced it is integrating Google Cloud's Gemini AI models into its Viewpoint platform, targeting eDiscovery and data breach response workflows for corporate legal departments.

The collaboration centers on a capability called Enhanced Review, which applies user-defined protocols to identify relevant documents, detect legal issues, and surface high-risk content during the document review process. According to the company's press release, the tool claims to deliver a 30–60% reduction in document-intensive analysis effort.

Enhanced Review provides reasoning behind its findings, which Conduent says supports auditability and defensibility in legal proceedings.

The Viewpoint platform also includes apps that convert unstructured documents into structured outputs such as chronologies, privilege logs, and case reports. A separate tool, CyberMine, integrated with Viewpoint Data Breach Analyzer, automates breach response by extracting and deduplicating participant data across large record sets and generating notification lists.

"Legal professionals are being asked to review exponentially more information with the same resources," said George Wehbe, President of Commercial Solutions at Conduent. "By combining Conduent's legal operations expertise with Google Cloud's AI capabilities, we're helping clients make faster, better-informed decisions while maintaining the governance, transparency and defensibility these matters demand."

Conduent said Viewpoint can be deployed as software-as-a-service on Google Cloud, on-premises, or through managed services. The company said planned future expansions include contract analytics and investigations.
