CoreWeave signs multi-year deal with Hudson River Trading
CoreWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWV) has signed a multi-year agreement with Hudson River Trading (HRT), a quantitative trading firm, to provide cloud infrastructure for HRT's AI research and model development operations.
Under the agreement, HRT will use CoreWeave's cloud platform, which includes clusters of Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 and Nvidia HGX B200 GPU systems, along with Spectrum-X Ethernet networking. The infrastructure will support HRT's AI model training, large-scale neural network development, and quantitative research workloads.
"As we scale our AI and machine learning research, the AI platform we build on matters as much as the models we build," said Kevin Lee, head of Research & Development at HRT. "We chose CoreWeave because they understand what it takes to run AI in demanding production environments, and because we're confident they'll scale alongside us as our ambitions do."
CoreWeave's platform will also provide HRT with dedicated high-bandwidth direct connect networking between HRT's on-premises environment and CoreWeave's infrastructure, as well as technical support tools for research teams.
"Financial services is one of the most demanding proving grounds for AI," said Jon Jones, chief revenue officer at CoreWeave. "HRT is one of the companies setting the standard for what it means to bring AI into production in a performance-critical environment."
CoreWeave, which completed its Nasdaq listing in March 2025, provides cloud infrastructure to AI laboratories, enterprises, and financial services firms. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
