August 20, 2026 7:06 AM

Natuzzi S.p.A. (NYSE: NTZ) has signed a definitive agreement with an unnamed candidate for the role of Chief Executive Officer, according to a press release from the Italian furniture company.

The appointment remains subject to shareholder approval at a meeting scheduled for September 11, 2026, on first call, or September 14, 2026, on second call. The company said it expects to disclose the candidate's identity by the end of August 2026, following his release from certain current professional commitments.

The selected candidate is described as an international executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience, including multiple CEO and senior executive roles at global companies across the food, consumer durables, luxury furniture, innovation, and home appliances sectors. His career spans organizations in both Europe and the United States, across listed and privately held multinational companies.

Pasquale Natuzzi, the company's majority shareholder and Chairman of the board of directors, said in a statement: "Following a thorough search process, we believe we have identified a leader with the international experience, transformation track record and execution discipline required for the next phase of Natuzzi's journey."

The announcement follows a commitment letter disclosed by Natuzzi on August 10, 2026, in which the company first revealed it had identified a CEO candidate. Natuzzi, founded in 1959 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 1993, operates a global retail network of 552 monobrand stores as of March 31, 2026.
