Boxabl Inc. (Nasdaq: BXBL), a factory-built construction company, has released a design concept for modular enclosures intended to house AI and cloud computing infrastructure, which it calls Server Pods. The company stated the concept is not a product currently in production or available for sale.

According to a company statement, Boxabl published the concept to demonstrate its factory's capabilities and to attract data center developers, operators, and equipment vendors interested in contracting the company to design and manufacture custom structures. No agreements have been signed, and the company offered no assurance that any will be reached.

The concept includes four configurations: a 10-foot pod envisioned at 0.5 petaflops with 8 racks; a 20-foot pod at 1.0 petaflop with 16 racks; a 40-foot pod at 2.0 petaflops with 36 racks; and a larger 2,500-square-foot "Server Tron" unit envisioned at 16 petaflops. All specifications are described as conceptual design targets subject to change through project-level engineering.

"We are not selling Server Pods today — we are inviting companies to bring us their data center problems and partner to design and build a custom solution," said Paolo Tiramani, Co-CEO of Boxabl.

Boxabl cited data from JLL's 2026 Global Data Center Market Outlook, which projects the sector will grow at a 14% compound annual growth rate through 2030, with total investment expected to reach up to $3 trillion. JLL also reports that data center construction costs have risen at a 7% CAGR since 2020 and that grid connection wait times exceed four years in many primary markets.

Boxabl's primary business is modular residential construction. The company said its factory is available for custom commercial manufacturing partnerships beyond housing. Any Server Pod product would be developed only under a specific customer agreement.
