AVAX One CFO departs, controller promoted to chief accounting officer
AVAX One Technology Ltd. (Nasdaq: AVX) announced the departure of Chief Financial Officer Chris Polimeni, effective Aug. 17, 2026, and the promotion of Stephanie Brady from controller to Chief Accounting Officer.
Brady, a licensed certified public accountant in New York State, holds more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience. She previously worked at Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers and served as SVP of Finance at Accelerate360 Holdings, LLC. She also previously held a CFO role at a publicly traded company and was VP of Finance at Seisint Inc. during its acquisition by Reed Elsevier Group.
Pete Wylie, the company's Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, said he thanked Polimeni for his contributions and expressed confidence in Brady's ability to lead the financial reporting function. Wylie, who has prior CFO experience, will support the finance organization during the transition.
The company stated that Polimeni's departure was not the result of any disagreement over operations, policies, or practices. He agreed to remain available through a consulting arrangement to assist with the transition.
Separately, the company's board is continuing a previously announced search for a permanent CEO, with executive search firm ZRG Partners supporting the process.
