Aon names new leadership for its middle market segment
Aon plc (NYSE: AON) announced several leadership changes to its middle market segment, including the transition of Doug Hammond from CEO of NFP to Global Executive Chairman of Aon's middle market segment, effective immediately.
In his new role, Hammond will report to Aon President and CEO Greg Case and will guide the firm's middle market strategy and the development of shared capabilities across Aon and NFP.
Aon also appointed Mike Schneider as CEO of Middle Market for North America, covering both Aon and NFP, effective immediately. Schneider, who joined NFP in 2003 and most recently served as president of NFP's U.S. Central and West regions, will report to Anne Corona, CEO of North America for Aon.
Ethan Foxman, previously president of NFP's Atlantic Region, has been appointed President of Middle Market, North America, reporting to Schneider. Mike James, formerly Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for NFP, has been named Chief Growth Officer of Middle Market, North America, reporting to Corona.
Schneider, Foxman, and James will join Aon's North America Executive Committee.
As part of the transition, NFP President and COO Mike Goldman and Executive Vice President Ed O'Malley have been appointed Vice Chairmen of NFP, effective immediately.
In the EMEA region, Matt Pawley, Managing Director of NFP for the UK and Ireland, will report to Hammond. Pawley and Hammond will work with Tracy-Lee Kus, Co-CEO of EMEA for Aon, on middle market growth opportunities in the region.
