Cycurion receives new patent for VuLink multi-camera sync technology
Cycurion, Inc. (NASDAQ: CYCU) announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted U.S. Patent No. 12,711,989, titled "Computer Program, Method, and System for Managing Multiple Data Recording Devices," adding to the intellectual property portfolio the company acquired through its purchase of the Digital Ally video solutions business.
The newly granted patent extends Cycurion's VuLink® auto-activation family, which was previously covered by U.S. Patent No. 8,781,292 and continuation No. 10,885,937. The technology automatically triggers all compatible recording devices — including body cameras, vehicle cameras, and microphones — to begin recording simultaneously when any single device is activated. Each stream is time-stamped and the files are linked together after recording ends.
The grant follows a recently announced fleet-driver-analytics patent covering the same platform.
"VuLink means officers no longer have to think about hitting record on five different devices in a crisis — the cameras handle it themselves, instantly and in sync," said L. Kevin Kelly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cycurion.
Cycurion completed the acquisition of Kustom Entertainment's Digital Ally video solutions business on Aug. 3, 2026. The transaction added more than $5 million in annual revenue and over $1.2 million in EBITDA, bringing the company's pro forma gross revenue run rate to approximately $30 million. The deal also included access to more than 800 client relationships and a portfolio of more than 50 patents, to which the new grant is added.
The VuLink technology is compatible with Digital Ally in-car and body-worn systems currently deployed across those client relationships. The company states the patented functionality also connects with its ARx AI platform and subsidiaries Axxum Technologies and Cloudburst Security.
