Intellicheck, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDN) announced that a recently signed channel partner has secured a deployment with a major investment management company, marking the identity verification firm's entry into the wealth management sector.

The Melville, N.Y.-based company did not disclose the name of the investment management firm or the financial terms of the deployment. Under the arrangement, Intellicheck's identity verification technology will be used to protect the firm against identity-based fraud and support customer onboarding.

The deployment follows Intellicheck's channel partner model, in which partners incorporate the company's technology into their own offerings and deploy it with enterprise clients.

Intellicheck's technology is based on proprietary analysis of DMV-issued identification documents. According to the company, its system delivers identity verification decisions in under one second and processes identity transactions for nearly half of the adult population in the United States and Canada annually.
