Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: TNXP) announced that its Board of Directors appointed Dr. Seth Lederman, the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, as Interim Chief Medical Officer, effective Aug. 18, 2026.

Dr. Lederman, 69, has served as President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board since October 2011 and will continue in those roles alongside the interim CMO appointment.

According to the company, there are no arrangements or understandings between Dr. Lederman and any other person related to the appointment, and no family relationships exist between Dr. Lederman and any director or executive officer of the company.
