Mondelēz signs sponsorship deal with Kansas City Chiefs
Mondelēz International (NASDAQ: MDLZ) has announced a sponsorship agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs, marking the company's first partnership with a professional football team, according to a press release.
Under the deal, Mondelēz will serve as the team's Official Snacking Partner, integrating its brands — including Oreo, Ritz, Sour Patch Kids and Chips Ahoy! — into game-day experiences at Arrowhead Stadium.
Beginning in October, regional retail displays featuring Chiefs branding and game-day promotions will appear in stores across Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
"We are incredibly excited to kick off the football season by charging into Chiefs Kingdom alongside one of the most iconic fanbases in sports," said Nick Rogers, Director of Portfolio Marketing & Sponsorships at Mondelēz International.
Tyler Kirby, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of the Kansas City Chiefs, said the team looks forward to "elevating the fan experience at Arrowhead Stadium and throughout our community" through the partnership.
Mondelēz, which reported 2025 net revenues of approximately $38.5 billion, has previously aligned its brands with sports properties including college basketball and soccer.
