Axe Compute receives $317M in prepayments on AI contracts
Axe Compute Inc. (NASDAQ: AGPU) announced it has received more than $317 million in customer prepayments tied to AI infrastructure contracts totaling over $3 billion that were announced on July 27, 2026.
The contracts are structured as five-year commitments with extension options and cover deployment of dedicated AI infrastructure across the United States and Europe. The company said revenue recognition from these deployments is expected to begin in late Q4 2026, with an annualized run rate projected to exceed $696 million once fully deployed.
According to the Pittsburgh-based company, the prepayments reduce the external funding required for initial deployment. Under its Build model, Axe Compute designs, deploys, owns, and operates the GPU infrastructure, while customers use the dedicated systems without taking on hardware ownership or operational responsibilities.
"The receipt of customer prepayments is an important milestone in converting signed contracts into funded deployments," said Christopher Miglino, Chief Executive Officer of Axe Compute. "It strengthens revenue visibility, supports disciplined execution of our long-term Build strategy, and reinforces our ability to expand dedicated AI infrastructure globally."
The company said it intends to provide milestone-based updates as funding and deployment progress, which may include announcements related to hardware orders, site readiness, customer acceptance, and the start of revenue recognition.
