August 18, 2026 8:31 AM

Blink Charging Co. (NASDAQ: BLNK) announced the launch of EnergyConnect, an AI-driven energy management system designed to allocate power across electric vehicle charging sites and reduce operating costs for site operators.

According to a company statement, EnergyConnect provides site hosts with real-time monitoring of energy usage, dynamic load balancing, and a centralized dashboard for managing charger groups. The platform also allows operators to set site-level load limits with optional daily or weekly scheduling.

The initial deployment covers 13 Blink-owned DC fast-charging sites in Florida. The company said early results are anticipated to produce electricity cost savings, and plans call for phased deployment across additional Blink sites in the U.S., U.K., and Belgium.

Mike Battaglia, President and CEO of Blink Charging, said in the statement: "EnergyConnect holds the potential to save Blink and its customers thousands of dollars on electricity costs. The platform's efficiency allows us to be even more thoughtful about future operating expenses, creating more opportunities for growth."

Blink said it plans to expand EnergyConnect's capabilities to include utility integrations, demand response functionality, battery energy storage systems, and solar energy management. The company described the platform as a component of its broader strategy to connect, monitor, and manage distributed energy assets across the Blink Network.
