HawkEye 360, Inc. (NYSE: HAWK) has been awarded a contract under the National Reconnaissance Office's Commercial Radio Frequency Capability Augmentation (CRFCA) program, according to a company press release dated Aug. 18, 2026.

Under the contract, the Herndon, Va.-based company will provide commercial radio frequency (RF) data in support of U.S. national security missions. The award moves HawkEye 360 from a test-and-evaluation role into an operational, production contract.

The company claims to be the first commercial provider to transition from all three phases of the NRO's Broad Agency Announcement study contracts into an operational augmentation contract through the CRFCA program.

"Our RF capabilities are built to support the mission needs of government customers who require reliable, timely information," said John Serafini, Chief Executive Officer of HawkEye 360. "We appreciate the continued partnership with the NRO and remain committed to delivering trusted commercial RF data for national security missions."

The contract covers RF data to assist government users with operational awareness and mission planning across defense, intelligence, and security missions.

"Our progression into an operational augmentation role underscores the maturity and reliability of our RF capabilities," said Todd Probert, Chief Operating Officer of HawkEye 360. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
