Nanox AI signs UK reseller deal with Vertec for bone health software
Nanox Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ: NNOX) announced that its subsidiary, Nanox AI Ltd., has entered into an exclusive sales reseller agreement with Vertec Scientific Ltd. for the commercialization of its Nanox.AI bone solution, known as HealthOST, in the United Kingdom.
The agreement grants Vertec an exclusive license to market and resell HealthOST in the UK over an initial three-year term, subject to minimum annual license commitments. Financial terms were not disclosed.
HealthOST is an FDA-cleared and UKCA/CE-marked AI software that analyzes routine CT scans to provide qualitative and quantitative assessment of the spine, including vertebral labeling, height-loss measurements, and bone-attenuation measurements. The software is designed to support clinicians in evaluating musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoporosis. Because it analyzes scans already performed for other clinical purposes, no additional imaging or radiation exposure is required.
In November 2025, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended HealthOST, along with a previous version called HealthVCF, among five AI technologies for National Health Service use to aid in the opportunistic detection of vertebral fragility fractures.
Vertec Scientific, founded in 1979 and based in Berkshire, England, supplies DXA and bone health solutions to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers across the UK.
Erez Meltzer, Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chairman of Nanox, said the agreement "expands the reach of our AI bone solution into the UK market" and cited Vertec's established presence in DXA and bone health solutions as a factor in the partnership.
Kate O'Reilly, Managing Director of Vertec, said the technology "gives clinicians a straightforward way to identify at-risk patients from routine scans, enabling more timely and proactive interventions."
