Zscaler and Carahsoft expand zero trust deal to target SMB market

August 18, 2026 8:03 AM

Zscaler, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZS) and Carahsoft Technology Corp. announced an expanded partnership aimed at extending Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange platform to U.S. small and medium-sized business and mid-market customers, according to a press release issued Aug. 18, 2026.

The partnership introduces standardized product bundles, simplified pricing, and partner enablement tools designed to make Zscaler's cloud-based security platform more accessible to smaller organizations. Carahsoft's reseller network will serve as the primary distribution channel for the initiative.

Key components of the expanded arrangement include curated Zero Trust Exchange bundles tailored for faster deployment, right-sized pricing aligned to SMB budgets, and onboarding playbooks intended to help channel partners service smaller customers.

"SMB and mid-market organizations face the same cyber risks as global enterprises, but they need a model built for simplicity, speed and economic predictability," said Anthony Torsiello, SVP of Global Partner Ecosystem at Zscaler.

Craig P. Abod, president of Carahsoft, said the expanded deal aims to make Zero Trust security "easier to procure, deploy and manage" for smaller customers by combining Zscaler's platform with Carahsoft's reseller ecosystem.

The partnership targets organizations that rely on distributed workforces, SaaS applications, and cloud connectivity, segments that Zscaler and Carahsoft describe as underserved in the current security market.
