August 18, 2026 7:02 AM

Labcorp (NYSE: LH) and the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) announced a strategic alliance on Aug. 18, 2026, aimed at supporting leadership development and practice improvement across the Community Health Center (CHC) network in the United States.

As part of the alliance, the two organizations are launching the NACHC Leadership Exchange for Chief Medical Officers, a program designed to strengthen the leadership, operational and clinical capabilities of current and emerging clinical leaders at CHCs. The program will include executive development, peer mentorship and practical learning opportunities.

CHCs represent the largest primary care network in the U.S., serving an estimated 52.3 million patients, including up to 1 in 3 people in rural America. NACHC has reach across 1,526 CHCs nationwide.

Beyond the leadership program, Labcorp and NACHC said they will collaborate on educational initiatives, practice improvement efforts and evidence generation. The organizations also plan to use de-identified laboratory data to help CHCs improve quality performance and close gaps in care.

"Through this alliance with Labcorp, we are creating new opportunities for clinicians to share best practices and advance innovative approaches that will help health centers improve outcomes for the patients and communities they serve," said Kyu Rhee, M.D., MPP, president and CEO of NACHC.

Bryan Vaughn, executive vice president and president of Diagnostics at Labcorp, said the company is "investing in the future of community-based healthcare by helping develop the next generation of clinical leaders and leveraging laboratory data to enhance care delivery."
