Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) has been selected by the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority to provide program and construction management services for the McGhee Tyson Airport Terminal Area Development Plan in Knoxville, Tennessee, according to a company statement.

The five-year contract covers a capital improvement program focused on terminal modernization and passenger growth at the airport, which carries the IATA code TYS. Parsons described the work as new business, expanding its aviation portfolio with a new client.

Under the contract, Parsons will provide centralized program oversight covering cost management, schedule, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with Federal Aviation Administration funding requirements. The company said it will deploy digital program management tools including executive dashboards, cloud-based document and construction management systems, and data analytics for forecasting and performance monitoring.

"This award expands our position in the aviation market with a new strategic airport customer," said Martin Boson, president of Engineered Systems for Parsons. "We look forward to supporting the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority as it advances a terminal development program that will enhance operations, improve the passenger experience, and support the region's continued growth."

Parsons states it has worked on infrastructure at more than 450 airports across 40 countries, including Los Angeles International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, and airports in the United Arab Emirates.
