AT&T closes sale of floating rate notes totaling $2.3B
AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) closed the sale of two sets of floating rate notes on August 17, 2026, raising a combined equivalent of approximately $2.3 billion.
The offering consisted of €1.2 billion in Euro-denominated floating rate notes and $1.1 billion in U.S. dollar-denominated floating rate notes, both due in 2028.
The Euro notes were sold under an underwriting agreement dated August 7, 2026, with Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch serving as underwriter. The USD notes were sold under a separate underwriting agreement dated August 10, 2026, with BNP Paribas Securities Corp. as underwriter.
The notes were issued under an indenture dated May 15, 2013, between AT&T and The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., as trustee. Both offerings were registered under the Securities Act of 1933 and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
