Greenland Mines completes survey and drilling phase at Skaergaard

Greenland Mines Ltd (Nasdaq: GRML) announced the completion of its 2026 bathymetric survey campaign at the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland, along with the conclusion of initial HQ-diameter metallurgical core drilling at the site.

The marine survey was conducted by Icelandic firm Lagenes ehf using the vessel M/V Byr, which covered more area than originally planned across Mikis Fjord, J.C. Jacobsen Fjord, Skaergaard Bugt and Uttendal Sund. The acquired data was confirmed to meet the high-resolution technical specifications required under the survey contract.

The bathymetric data was used to guide the company's support vessel Argus to an anchorage in Uttendal Sund, approximately 500 meters from the western outcropping gold, palladium and platinum mineralized zone that is the focus of the 2026 field season. The company said the data is expected to support the Danish Geodata Agency in producing new official navigational charts for the Skaergaard fjord system. The company also plans to commission a dedicated navigational safety study based on the survey results.

"For the first time, we now have high-quality seabed data across the fjords surrounding Skaergaard, acquired to international survey standards and already put to direct operational use this season," said Dr. Bo Moller Stensgaard, president of Greenland Mines Ltd.

In parallel, contractor Nordisk Fundering A/S completed all HQ-diameter drill core required to support a planned multi-ton metallurgical bulk sample. The drill program has since transitioned to NQ-size core drilling. A core shack facility for logging, sampling and storage has been completed and is operational on site.

Greenland Mines holds an 80% interest in the three Mineral Exploration Licenses covering the Skaergaard Project, with an option to acquire the remaining 20% through its subsidiary Major Precious Greenland A/S. The company said the 2026 field season also encompasses environmental baseline studies and infrastructure data collection aimed at advancing the project toward an Initial Assessment.
