Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) has announced new food service contracts with more than a dozen school districts across nine states, according to a company press release.

The new partnerships span public school districts, charter schools, independent schools, and faith-based education systems in Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Among the new clients are Camden City School District in New Jersey, where Aramark will launch a program called Camden Fresh featuring scratch cooking and farm-to-school initiatives, and Carteret County Public Schools in North Carolina, where students will have access to culinary internships and chef interactions.

In New York, four districts signed on: Charter School of Educational Excellence in Yonkers, Dobbs Ferry School District, Malone Central School District, and Putnam Valley Central School District. Texas additions include Brownfield Independent School District and Melissa Independent School District. Wisconsin's new partnerships cover the School District of Jefferson and West Bend School District.

In Pennsylvania, Aramark will serve the Erie Catholic School System across five schools, as well as Mother Teresa Academy in Erie. Other new partnerships include Queen Bee Elementary School District 16 in Illinois, Talbot County Public Schools in Maryland, Easton Public Schools in Massachusetts, and Fairfield County School District in South Carolina.

Aramark's Student Nutrition division states it currently serves over 270 million meals annually to approximately 1.5 million students nationwide.
