Vivakor, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIVK) has entered into a non-binding Indication of Interest with M2i Global, Inc. (OTCQB: MTWO) to evaluate a potential business combination, according to a press release dated Aug. 13, 2026.

The proposed transaction, structured as a potential equity-exchange acquisition of M2i by Vivakor, would combine Vivakor's commodities marketing and remediation operations with M2i's critical minerals platform. The parties have agreed to a 30-day initial negotiation period to discuss valuation, transaction structure, and management and board composition. Alternative transaction structures remain under consideration.

M2i is described as a U.S.-based critical materials infrastructure and systems-integration platform. Its operations include a federally sited critical mineral repository initiative, multi-commodity processing capabilities, and compliance and traceability systems intended to support defense and domestic supply chains.

At the conclusion of the negotiation period, the parties may enter into a Letter of Intent, extend discussions, or elect not to proceed. The Indication of Interest is non-binding, except for certain specified provisions, and any potential transaction remains subject to due diligence, definitive agreements, regulatory approvals, and customary closing conditions.

James Ballengee, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vivakor, said the company has been monitoring M2i since 2025 and cited what he described as strategic synergies between the two organizations. Major General (Ret.) Alberto Rosende, Chief Executive Officer of M2i Global, said the two leadership teams have been acquainted for over a year.

Vivakor operates oilfield trucking and related energy infrastructure services, including crude oil and produced water gathering, storage, transportation, and remediation under long-term contracts.
