MasterClass, the online learning platform, has selected CoreWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWV) cloud infrastructure to evaluate and improve the AI teaching agents that deliver personalized instruction to its learners, according to a press release from CoreWeave.

As part of the arrangement, MasterClass will use W&B Weave, an observability tool, to trace complete learner conversations with AI teaching agents, monitor agent behavior in production, and apply custom signals to identify areas where teaching quality and personalization can be improved. The setup is intended to create a unified system of record across MasterClass's AI agent pipeline, from experimentation through production.

"W&B Weave gives us visibility into complete learner conversations, not just individual prompts, so we can see exactly where our AI teaching agents are succeeding and where they need to improve," said Mandar Bapaye, chief product officer and chief technology officer at MasterClass.

MasterClass is also incorporating W&B evaluation and tracing tools into MasterClass Executive, a business education program built with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and with collaboration from OpenAI. The program selects approximately 700 members annually from roughly 30,000 applicants and includes an AI lab focused on evaluating AI systems for production readiness, covering quality, cost, latency, and risk factors such as hallucinations and bias.
