CleanCore closes $100M equity raise, plans rebrand to Zone Frontier
CleanCore Solutions, Inc. (NYSE American: ZONE) announced the closing of a $100 million public equity raise to fund its Minnesota AI data center campus, according to a company press release dated Aug. 13, 2026.
Following the closing, the company said it has approximately $140 million of project equity capital funded or committed for the Minnesota campus, which includes net proceeds from the equity raise and proceeds from the completed sale of its Dogecoin holdings. The company said it does not anticipate raising additional dilutive financing for the Minnesota project, with remaining capitalization expected to come from project-level debt financing, cash flow from operations, and other non-dilutive amounts.
The company previously announced a definitive agreement with Cerebras Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBRS) for the Minnesota campus, representing approximately $800 million of contracted value over an initial 10-year term, with the potential to exceed $3 billion if all renewal options are exercised.
CleanCore also announced a rebranding to Zone Frontier Inc., which the company said reflects its focus on AI data center infrastructure development. The transition is expected to be complete by the end of August 2026.
Chief Executive Officer Tyler Hassen said he personally invested in the financing. "Power is the binding constraint on AI compute today, and ZONE is building the infrastructure needed to help solve that challenge," Hassen said in the statement.
The company, which previously operated in cleaning services, said it has a growing pipeline of AI infrastructure projects. It noted in its forward-looking disclosures that it has limited operating history in the data center or computing infrastructure industry and faces risks related to its ability to transition its business model.
