Sprinklr adds Microsoft's Jordi Ribas to its board of directors
Sprinklr (NYSE: CXM) has appointed Jordi Ribas to its board of directors, effective August 17, 2026, according to a company press release.
Ribas currently serves as President of Search & AI at Microsoft, where he has worked for more than 26 years. In that role, he leads product, engineering, and growth teams for Microsoft Bing and the Web IQ search engine for agents. His team launched the original Copilot at Microsoft, with innovations used across Microsoft Azure, Office, and Windows, as well as in OpenAI's ChatGPT.
Ribas holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a M.S. in Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and an Enginyer Tecnic degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Escola d'Enginyeria La Salle in Barcelona, Spain. He has published more than 50 technical works, including 25 peer-reviewed papers and 20 U.S. patents.
"Jordi has spent his career helping turn breakthrough technologies into products used by millions of people around the world," said Ragy Thomas, Sprinklr's Founder and Chairman of the Board.
Rory Read, President and CEO of Sprinklr, said Ribas's experience building products at scale and his understanding of AI would be relevant as the company works with enterprise customers.
Sprinklr states it serves more than 1,600 enterprises, including 59% of the Fortune 100.
