Micware and Vissel Kobe launch joint venture for stadium digital twin
Micware Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: MWC) and professional soccer club Vissel Kobe announced the launch of a joint venture on August 13, 2026, centered on "PreSpot," a stadium-based indoor digital twin experience service developed by Micware.
PreSpot integrates with Vissel Kobe's official app to offer fans 360° views of seat sightlines at Noevir Stadium Kobe, rendered using 3D graphics, as well as in-stadium navigation and support for getting to and from the venue. The service is built on Micware's "DynaPlanet" 3D spatial digital platform, which was released on March 1, 2026.
Under the arrangement, Micware will handle service planning, development, digital twin visualization, and location-based navigation features. Vissel Kobe will contribute knowledge of stadium operations and fan experience challenges. The two companies plan to conduct testing based on real-world usage scenarios at Vissel Kobe home games.
Micware will also become an official gold partner of Vissel Kobe for the 2026–2027 season.
Micware President and Chairman Kenji Narushima said in a statement: "By leveraging DynaPlanet's technology, PreSpot aims to evolve into a service that connects everything—from the anticipation before a stadium game to travel on the day of the event and movement within the venue after the game—into a single experience, thereby fostering a new relationship between fans and the venue."
Both companies are headquartered in Kobe, Japan. Micware is a software development firm focused primarily on automotive and mobility IT solutions, while Vissel Kobe competes in Japan's J. League.
