Cabot prices $350 million in senior notes due 2029
Cabot Corporation (NYSE: CBT) priced a public offering of $350 million in 4.950% senior unsecured notes due 2029, according to a press release. The notes are being sold at 99.993% of face value.
Interest will be paid semiannually on February 15 and August 15 each year, beginning February 15, 2027. The offering is expected to close on August 21, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
Cabot said it intends to use the net proceeds primarily to repay its senior unsecured notes maturing in September 2026, with any remainder applied to working capital and general corporate purposes, which may include repayment of commercial paper and amounts outstanding under its multicurrency revolving credit facility.
Citigroup Global Markets, J.P. Morgan Securities, PNC Capital Markets, U.S. Bancorp Investments, BofA Securities, BBVA Securities, and ING Financial Markets are serving as joint book-running managers. HSBC Securities, Loop Capital Markets, and Morgan Stanley are co-managers for the offering.
