North American Mining, a subsidiary of NACCO Industries (NYSE: NC), announced it has signed two multi-year contract extensions with customers in Florida and Arkansas, according to a company press release dated Aug. 12, 2026.

The first is a 20-year contract extension with a customer in central Florida, doubling the length of the previous agreement. The extension covers dragline mining services at two limestone quarries, with plans to deploy higher-capacity equipment. The quarries are expected to produce approximately 3 million to 4 million tons of limestone annually.

The second is a four-year contract extension with a sand and gravel customer in southwest Arkansas, with an expected annual production of approximately 800,000 tons.

Together, the two extensions are projected to support nearly 5 million tons of annual aggregate production.

Phillip Berry, President of North American Mining, said in a statement: "Long-term partnerships are earned through performance. These renewals reflect the trust our customers place in our people and our ability to reliably deliver materials they depend on."

North American Mining operates as part of NACCO Natural Resources, a subsidiary of NACCO Industries, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
