Google announced the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, its latest foldable smartphone, available for pre-order with an in-store release date of August 20, 2026.

The device is approximately 10% lighter and about 1mm thinner than its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It features thinner bezels and is offered in Obsidian and a new Olive color option.

Google says the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is three times more durable than last year's model. The phone carries an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and includes a glass fiber composite back cover, a gearless hinge, and a Super Actua outer display made of ceramic cover glass. Both displays reach 3,600 nits of brightness, a 20% increase over the previous generation.

A new LED system called HiLight is built around the camera flash and provides color-coded visual notifications for incoming calls and hands-free Gemini interactions.

The phone is powered by Google's Tensor G6 chip and includes 16GB of RAM. It supports 30W wired charging, reaching 50% in approximately 30 minutes, and wireless charging at up to 25W via Qi2.2, which Google says is 20% faster than the previous Fold model. Battery life is rated at over 24 hours.

Camera hardware includes a new 48MP main sensor and a telephoto camera with up to 30x Super Zoom. New software features include Magic Capture and Camera Looks.

The device includes a sign-to-text feature developed in partnership with the Deaf community, enabling American Sign Language input through Live Transcribe and Gboard via the front camera, with translations displayed on the outer screen.
