U.S. Bank extends multiyear deal with San Francisco 49ers
U.S. Bank and the San Francisco 49ers announced a multiyear extension of their partnership, which began in 2014, maintaining U.S. Bank as the team's Official Bank Partner and adding several new sponsorship elements.
Under the extended agreement, U.S. Bank will sponsor all 49ers girls' flag football programming, including the 2026 49ers FLAG High School Girls Showcase scheduled for September in California. The bank will also continue as presenting sponsor of 49ers PREP and 49ers Cal-Hi Sports.
The Levi's Stadium east field club, located behind the visiting team bench, will be rebranded with U.S. Bank as presenting sponsor. The extension also includes a practice jersey patch, a redesigned 49ers-branded debit card, and a designated entitlement game on Oct. 19, 2026, when the 49ers face the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.
Running back Christian McCaffrey will appear in a new U.S. Bank brand campaign, while tight end George Kittle will promote U.S. Bank Financial Edge, the bank's financial guidance program for players.
"We're proud to extend our partnership with the San Francisco 49ers, a relationship that reflects our shared commitment to supporting the Bay Area," said Brian Formisano, California regional executive for U.S. Bank's Branch and Small Business Banking division.
The extension follows U.S. Bank's previously announced sponsorship as an Official Bank and Wealth Management Sponsor of the NFL. According to the press release, U.S. Bank works with more than 35 professional sports teams and previously arranged financing for Levi's Stadium construction.
