August 12, 2026 9:19 AM

LiveOne (NASDAQ: LVO) reported revenue of $19.4 million for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2026, up slightly from $19.2 million in the same period a year earlier, according to a company press release. The increase was driven primarily by growth at subsidiary PodcastOne (NASDAQ: PODC).

The company's adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, swung to $4.3 million from negative $1.8 million in the prior-year quarter, an improvement of $6.1 million. The Audio Division posted adjusted EBITDA of $6.3 million on revenue of $18.6 million.

Net loss attributable to LiveOne narrowed to $2.6 million, or $0.23 per share, compared with a net loss of $3.6 million, or $0.40 per share, in the year-ago quarter. Operating loss came in at $3.7 million versus $4.0 million a year earlier, with the improvement attributed to increased margins at Slacker.

On the balance sheet, cash and equivalents rose to $8.6 million from $5.4 million at March 31, 2026. Total liabilities fell to $53.8 million from $59.3 million over the same period. Stockholders' deficit improved by $6.9 million.

PodcastOne claimed a number six ranking on Podtrac during the quarter. LiveOne also said it expanded business-to-business partnerships with AT&T, Samsung, LG, and Vizio.

Chairman and CEO Robert Ellin stated, "We delivered year-over-year and sequential revenue growth during the quarter, while also achieving a substantial improvement in gross margin, reflecting the benefits of our AI initiatives and continued efforts to streamline operations."
