A third of investors received no shares in Intel's offering on strong demand - report
Investing.com -- About one-third of investors who placed orders in Intel Corp.'s $20 billion stock offering received no shares, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The chipmaker's offering ended multiple times oversubscribed with support from long-only investors and sovereign wealth funds, according to the report.
The top 10 investors in the offering took 55% of the shares, while the largest 25 investors secured 80% of the shares, the report said.
Intel priced a public offering of 210,526,315 shares of common stock at $95 per share earlier Tuesday. The offering was increased to $20 billion from a previously announced $15 billion.
JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Morgan Stanley and Citigroup Inc. worked on the offering.
