TD Synnex expands IBM distribution to 20 new countries

August 11, 2026 10:24 AM

TD Synnex (NYSE: SNX) announced the expansion of its IBM distribution operations into 20 new countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, according to a company press release.

In Asia-Pacific, the expansion will operate under the Tech Data and Tec-D brand in Malaysia. The company said the broader geographic footprint is intended to give more partners access to IBM solutions across additional markets.

As part of the expansion, TD Synnex is extending its Select Blue program, a partner initiative built with IBM that focuses on specialization in areas including artificial intelligence, data, and automation. The program is designed to help partners move from opportunity to execution using SaaS- and consumption-based models.

"With this expansion, we are extending our reach into additional markets while connecting with a broader set of partners looking to grow their IBM business," said Mark Martin, VP of Global Vendor Management at TD Synnex.

Sam Smith, Senior Vice President at ASB Resources, a partner using the Select Blue program, said the initiative has provided direction on scaling. "By adopting SaaS- and consumption-based models, we're accelerating execution and driving more predictable growth," Smith said.

TD Synnex said it will support partners across the new markets with enablement, financing, pre-sales support, and go-to-market execution services.
