Unigarant picks eGain for knowledge management platform
Dutch insurance company Unigarant has selected eGain (NASDAQ: EGAN) to deploy its AI Knowledge Hub, according to a press release from eGain. The platform is intended to modernize knowledge management and support Unigarant's broader enterprise AI strategy.
Unigarant, a subsidiary of ANWB (Royal Dutch Touring Club) with approximately 700 employees, specializes in mobility, recreation, leisure, and home insurance. The company distributes products through insurance brokers, travel agencies, bicycle shops, and ANWB channels, and handles customer interactions across phone, email, WhatsApp, live chat, mail, and self-service.
The company said it selected eGain to improve access to information, strengthen governance, and support employees across service channels. The implementation is also intended to extend knowledge to insurance brokers through an extranet and to policyholders through the ANWB Self-Service Portal.
Unigarant's stated goals for the deployment include improving advisor and claims handler productivity, delivering more consistent service across channels, and enabling enterprise AI search and AI-driven service experiences.
"At Unigarant, we are continuously investing in a digital service model that enables us to serve customers faster, more consistently, and with greater quality," said Marcel Spronk, Chief Operating Officer of Unigarant. "eGain fits perfectly within that vision."
Peter Leeveer, Chief Digital Officer of Unigarant, said the platform would establish "the trusted knowledge foundation required for the next generation of AI-powered experiences."
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
