LiqTech wins $2M follow-on order from US steel maker for water filters
LiqTech International, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIQT) has received a follow-on order from a US-based steel manufacturer for four additional QureFlow™ filtration systems, valued at more than $2 million, according to a company press release.
The order follows an initial QureFlow system installation at the same facility in 2025. Upon completion, the customer will have five of LiqTech's largest QureFlow configurations installed, totaling 4,110 membranes and approximately 1,368 square meters of membrane surface area.
The expanded installation is designed to handle an average flow rate of approximately 400 gallons per minute, with capacity to manage peak loads of approximately 515 gallons per minute for limited periods. The systems use LiqTech's ceramic silicon carbide crossflow ultrafiltration technology for industrial wastewater treatment.
Fei Chen, CEO of LiqTech, said, "This follow-on order from our customer is an important validation of our technology and execution in industrial water treatment. The expansion from one system to five demonstrates how our QureFlow platform can support customers with scalable, robust filtration capacity in complex process environments."
LiqTech is headquartered in Ballerup, Denmark, and manufactures filtration products for liquid and gas applications across several industries.
