FreeCast, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAST) has engaged FutureInnoX, LLC, led by Dr. Nathalia Gillot, as a strategic consultant to support its telecommunications, satellite connectivity, government-sector and global business development initiatives, according to a press release from the Orlando, Fla.-based company.

Dr. Gillot brings more than 15 years of experience across the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force/Space Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense and the U.S. Department of State. Her background includes electromagnetic spectrum strategy, 5G and 6G policy, secure communications, technology acquisition and critical communications infrastructure.

She previously served as a Senior Program Manager with the U.S. Air Force/Space Force Rapid Capabilities Office at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and as a senior advisor within the DoD Chief Information Officer's Electromagnetic Spectrum Enterprise Policy and Programs organization. Her résumé also includes international diplomatic work involving NATO allies, G7 partners and the United Nations Security Council.

Under the consulting agreement, FutureInnoX will provide FreeCast with strategic consulting, technology advisory, business development, engineering support and related professional services. The agreement covers government contracting strategy, DoD and NASA opportunity assessment, satellite communications, wireless infrastructure, cybersecurity and technology commercialization.

William Mobley, CEO of FreeCast, said the company does not need to build satellite infrastructure or own spectrum, describing its goal as providing "the intelligent media, services and monetization layer that can operate across those networks."

FreeCast describes its Platform-as-a-Service technology as a software and services layer designed to sit above multiple forms of connectivity, enabling telecommunications, broadband and satellite partners to offer entertainment, content discovery, subscription management and advertising services to their customers.
