EverQuote partners with Waniwani, takes minority equity stake
EverQuote, Inc. (Nasdaq: EVER) has announced an exclusive commercial partnership with Waniwani, a company that provides infrastructure for the distribution of financial services through AI channels, according to a press release.
EverQuote plans to integrate Waniwani's technology into its portfolio of AI solutions for property and casualty (P&C) insurance carriers and licensed agents. The partnership is aimed at helping P&C insurers be discovered and engage with customers through AI-driven channels.
Alongside the commercial agreement, EverQuote has made a strategic minority equity investment in Waniwani. The companies said the investment is intended to support joint development of future solutions related to how insurance providers' content and offerings are surfaced by AI agents and autonomous research tools.
"Discoverability and engagement are being redefined in real time as AI agents take on a larger role in how people find and choose products and services," said Jayme Mendal, CEO of EverQuote. "By developing new products and integrating technologies like Waniwani, we will extend our portfolio of growth solutions for P&C carriers and agents and give our customers the tools they need to stay visible and competitive in this new landscape."
Robin Diligent, CEO of Waniwani, said: "EverQuote sits at the center of P&C distribution in the U.S., which makes them the ideal partner to bring that infrastructure, agentic discovery, conversion, and built-in compliance to carriers and agents at scale."
Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
