EverQuote partners with Waniwani on agentic AI insurance distribution
EverQuote, Inc. (Nasdaq: EVER) and Waniwani announced an exclusive commercial partnership aimed at helping property and casualty insurers gain visibility and engagement across AI-driven distribution channels, according to a press release.
EverQuote plans to integrate Waniwani's platform into its portfolio of AI solutions for P&C carriers and licensed agents. Waniwani describes its offering as revenue and compliance infrastructure for the distribution of financial services through AI agents.
The partnership is intended to give EverQuote's insurance customers tools to be discovered by AI agents that increasingly act on behalf of consumers during product research and purchasing decisions, while also optimizing conversion at each stage of the sales funnel.
Jayme Mendal, CEO of EverQuote, said the integration would extend the company's growth solutions for P&C carriers and agents into agentic AI channels. Robin Diligent, CEO of Waniwani, noted that insurance is a complex purchase and that AI agents are playing a growing role in that decision process, calling EverQuote "the ideal partner" to bring the combined infrastructure to carriers and agents at scale.
Alongside the commercial agreement, EverQuote has made a strategic minority equity investment in Waniwani. The companies said the investment is intended to support joint development of future solutions related to how insurance providers' content and offerings are surfaced by AI agents, assistants, and autonomous shopping tools. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
