Vivakor, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIVK) announced that its subsidiary, Vivakor Supply & Trading, LLC, has entered into new 12-month crude oil purchase and sale transactions covering 200,000 barrels of West Texas Intermediate crude oil per month, or approximately 2.4 million barrels annually.

The transactions are scheduled to begin Sept. 1, 2026, and run through Aug. 31, 2027. According to a press release from the Dallas-based company, the agreements are intended to advance Vivakor toward what it described as $2 billion in annualized commercial activity.

James Ballengee, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said in the statement: "We continue to add recurring volume and commercial activity to the VST platform. With another 2.4 million barrels of annual sales volume represented by these agreements, Vivakor is rapidly approaching $2 billion in annualized commercial activity, a significant milestone for a business we have been aggressively building and scaling."

Vivakor noted that, consistent with standard physical commodity marketing transactions, its subsidiary recognizes only a small percentage of total contract value as gross profit, given its role as an intermediary in the physical crude oil supply chain. The company said gross profit will vary based on market conditions, commodity pricing, transaction structure, and delivered volumes.

Vivakor describes itself as an integrated provider of energy transportation, storage, reuse, and remediation services, operating one of the largest oilfield trucking fleets in the continental United States.
