DataMeds AI renames pharmacy units under new Corexa Health division
DataMeds AI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEDS) has completed the renaming of two pharmacy subsidiaries, now operating as Corexa Pharmacy, LLC and Corexa Tech & Hub, LLC, under a newly formed division called Corexa Health, LLC, according to a company statement.
The restructuring separates the parent company's identity from its operating subsidiaries, which focus on distinct areas of healthcare. The company's nationally licensed pharmaceutical distribution subsidiary, Wellgistics, LLC, will retain its current name.
"Rebranding our pharmacy and pharmacy hub focused entities under the Corexa Health umbrella is aimed at creating a distinction between our pharmacy-focused division and the pending addition of the other operating healthcare services-focused divisions in telemedicine and diagnostic laboratory services," said Gerald Commissiong, Interim Co-CEO of DataMeds AI.
Commissiong also referenced plans to expand the company's EinsteinRx artificial intelligence platform by integrating commercial healthcare delivery intellectual property licensed from DataVault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) with its existing PharmacyChain blockchain-based pharmaceutical serialization tracking license.
The company has a proposed acquisition of Tollo Health, LLC, described as a medical foods manufacturer and provider of the "Health Lives Here" consumer healthcare app, as well as a proposed acquisition of the QOLPOM intellectual property portfolio, which relates to biometric assessment of drug regimen compliance and drone-based prescription home delivery. Both acquisitions remain pending, and definitive agreements have not yet been executed.
