SpaceX struggles to recover Starship from Indian Ocean
SpaceX's recovery team continues efforts to retrieve the Flight 13 Starship spacecraft from the Indian Ocean. The team faces difficult conditions and increasingly rough seas as it works to transport the 52-meter-long vehicle to port.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said the ship recovery does not look promising at this time. The company was able to capture close-up photographs of important areas of the heat shield and engines that will be used for future improvements, Musk added.
The recovery operation remains ongoing as weather conditions in the area present obstacles to the team's work.
