American Outdoor Brands adds investment advisor to its board
American Outdoor Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: AOUT) has appointed Kevin D. Leary to its Board of Directors, effective August 4, 2026, according to a press release statement.
Leary, who serves as Chief Executive Officer of Hallador Investment Advisors, an SEC-registered investment advisor and family office, has been appointed as an independent director. He will serve on the Board's Compensation Committee and Nominations and Corporate Governance Committee.
Leary has been with Hallador Investment Advisors since 2015 and has held the CEO role since 2021, previously serving as the firm's President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Investment Analyst.
Barry Monheit, Chairman of the Board, said: "Kevin brings deep experience in investment management, capital allocation, corporate finance, and governance, along with the perspective of a longstanding large shareholder and avid outdoor enthusiast."
Leary currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Tahoe Forest Products and as a director of EarLens Corporation, where he chairs the Compensation Committee and serves on the Audit Committee. He previously served as a director of Empower Semiconductor until its sale to Analog Devices in July 2026, and as a director of Navitas Semiconductor prior to its initial public offering. Earlier in his career, he held positions with Grant Thornton LLP and Spitfire Capital LLC.
American Outdoor Brands is based in Columbia, Mo., and produces products under brands including BOG, BUBBA, Caldwell, Crimson Trace, and others serving hunting, fishing, camping, and outdoor cooking markets.
